The NbS4LD+ consortium will participate in the 1st International Conference on Land Degradation and Restoration, to be held in Valencia, Spain, from 20 to 26 July 2026.
The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange, dissemination of project results, and international networking with researchers and practitioners working in the fields of Nature-based Solutions, land restoration, and sustainable land management. During the event, the consortium will also organize its Second Transnational Project Meeting, further strengthening cooperation among project partners and supporting the successful implementation of the NbS4LD+ project.

The NbS4LD+ Interactive Workshop Series will commence on 20 April 2026, bringing together experts from all partner institutions to deliver a comprehensive programme on Nature-based Solutions (NbS), Land Degradation, Sustainable Forest Management, Digital Education, Soft Skills, and Community Engagement.
The workshops aim to strengthen the knowledge and teaching capacities of project partners while supporting the development of high-quality training materials for the project’s target groups. All partners are encouraged to actively participate in the online sessions and contribute to the collaborative learning process.

The NbS4LD+ consortium will hold its first face-to-face project meeting on 10–11 February 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, hosted by the General Directorate of Combating Desertification and Erosion (GDCDE).
Representatives from all six partner organizations will come together to officially launch the implementation phase of the Erasmus+ project. During the two-day meeting, partners will review the project objectives, Work Packages, implementation schedule, and management structure while confirming partner responsibilities and planned deliverables.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity to discuss the development of the project’s training programme, educational materials, e-learning platform, communication strategy, and dissemination activities. In addition, partners will establish the roadmap for upcoming interactive workshops and other collaborative activities planned throughout the project.
This first transnational meeting will mark an important milestone for the NbS4LD+ project, strengthening cooperation among consortium members and laying the foundation for the successful implementation of project activities over the coming months.
